    Mr Andrew Griffin

    I have been Headteacher here at Kidmore End since July 2021. Over the past thirty-one years I have been extremely committed to providing children with high quality education, enjoyable experiences and memorable moments.

    Originally from Canada, I became Rector of Rotherfield Peppard and Kidmore End & Sonning Common in September 2016, having previously ministered in a parish in Oxford.

    Foundation Governor

    I am married to Kate with three daughters, all of whom attended Kidmore End CE Primary. We are members of St Peter's Caversham, where we were married in 2001.

    Foundation Governor

    As a foundation governor and a parent, the school’s Christian values and links with St John the Baptist church are extremely important to me.

    I am a foundation governor, having been nominated by the Parochial Church Council of St John the Baptist Church. I live in Kidmore End and my 3 children attended the school between 2007 and 2020.

    I live locally to the school and both my daughters attended Kidmore End. My youngest daughter left in 2020.

    I am a retired Primary school headteacher who has lived in the village for nearly 20 years.

    There are many reasons why I wanted to be Staff Governor, but the first and foremost being that I want what is best for the children of this school; for it to be the best that it can be.

    I currently work at Invesco, an investment management company, as their Charity and Community Support Manager.

    I am a father of 2 boys at Kidmore End School and live locally in Sonning Common.

    I have lived in Kidmore End since 1986 and my two daughters were both educated at the School.

    I joined the Governors team in the role of Clerk to Governors in January 2022.
