On Friday 24th June Year 3 will be visiting Oxford Botanical Gardens. This trip supports our science topic this term which is all about plants. We will be taking part in a workshop entitled Root to Seed, led by specialist staff from the botanical gardens. We will then have a picnic lunch and some time for further exploration. We will travel there by coach, leaving shortly after morning registration and returning in time for the end of the school day. All children will need to bring a packed lunch, including a drink, on the day of the visit. Please note that the children will be outdoors for part of the day, therefore it will be essential to check the forecast and dress appropriately for the weather on the day: e.g. waterproofs or sun cream and hats! The children should wear their normal school uniform, but trainers would be the most appropriate form of footwear.
