September 2026 Intake

Children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 (inclusive) will start primary school in September 2026.

If your child is due to start school in September 2026 and you are interested in applying to Kidmore End Primary School, please come along to one of our open days in the Autumn term. Dates and times to be confirmed.

Open Mornings / Afternoons take place on week days and last approximately an hour and a half.  We aim for an informal occasion where visitors have an opportunity to look around the school, meet with our Headteacher, Miss Spankie, and get a real sense of what we have to offer at Kidmore End Primary. 

Booking is essential.  If you would like to attend, please register via the office.

Applications for places in Foundation Stage (starting school for the first time), should be made through your home local authority - usually Oxfordshire or Reading.

In Year Admissions

If your child is at another primary school and you would like to move them to Kidmore End, you need to apply. This is called an in-year admission and applying is very straightforward. 

The first step is to register your interest by submitting our In-Year Admission Enquiry Form here. Someone from our admissions team will then contact you to discuss availability of places, to arrange a convenient time to visit, or to discuss any other query you may have about our admissions process.

Submission of an in year admission form (below) is then required.

If you would like a free paper form to complete, please request from the school office.

We process our own in year admissions and some of our uniform is available to buy from the School Office.  It is therefore possible for your child to join us without too much delay, if that is your preference. 

Children transferring from another school are admitted according to the Admission Policy providing there is space in that year group.   

We currently have limited spaces in most year groups.
