Breakfast Club 

Breakfast Club is run by Lucy McAdden and her team from Chalkhouse Childcare and is based in the Learning Zone, running every morning during term time (excluding INSET Days) from 7.30am until School starts at 8.35am. 

In preparation for the busy school day, Breakfast Club focuses on providing a calm relaxing environment for your children before they head off to their classes.  The children are provided with breakfast on arrival and can choose from a range of activities.    

The cost per child of a pre-booked place is £6.50. Siblings receive a discount.

After School Club 

After School Club is run by the school from Monday to Thursday until 6pm and is based in the School Hall. It is open every day school is open, with the exception of the last day of our Autumn, Spring & Summer terms, when School is open but After School Club is not.

The cost per child of a pre-booked place is £6 (for a short session until 4.15pm). Alternatively a long session until 6pm, which includes a tea such as pizza at 4.30pm, can be booked.  The cost of this long session is £13 per child.

Bookings are made via MCAS. Parents can view availability and select sessions to book.

Sessions are released in half-term blocks approximately one month before each half-term commences. For example, Autumn Term 1 sessions have been released and Autumn Term 2 sessions will be released around 1st October 2026.

Bookings close on MCAS 3 days prior to the session commencing. If you miss the cut-off and wish to make a late booking there is an additional £2 charge. Late bookings are not encouraged but will be accepted if we have space, please email asc@kidmore-end.co.uk to book.

If you need to book a later collection time (ie increase a short session to a long session) on any given date. Please check availability using the app, then email asc@kidmore-end.co.uk to request a credit for your booked short session, either:

(a) after you have secured the long session on the same night via MCAS (this method is recommended if you require immediate confirmation your childcare needs have been met and are happy to receive credits to your account), OR

(b) before you secure your long session (so your credit can be offset against the cost of your long session thereby minimising credits on your account. Please allow 3 working days for your credit to appear on MCAS)

Childcare vouchers or the government tax-free childcare scheme are both accepted methods of payment.

Please allow two weeks for any funds you request from your provider, to be credited to your MCAS account. On receipt, your funds will be visible in the cost/balance column of your MCAS dashboard (within the after school club module) and will be available to use against the cost of future bookings.

In light of the fact credits to MCAS have no expiry date, you may find it helpful to keep your MCAS in credit so you have sufficient funds for any ah hoc dates you require throughout the term.
