PE: 

Our PE days this term are Tuesdays and Fridays  - children should wear their PE kits to School. Kit needs to include outside trainers, jumper and tracksuit bottoms/leggings as PE continues outside, if possible, whatever the weather.

Music:

Please make sure your child is responsible for their clarinet and ensure that they are bringing them into school each Thursday. Please encourage your child to practice using Charanga - maybe in the garage or in front of another family member to give your ears a little break!

Homework:

Your child has a reading record which they will be required to fill in 2-3 times a week (more is fine with us). They should read on their own daily and with an adult at least twice a week. Please feel free to record in the diary and encourage the children to start commenting on their independent reading. Reading records are the responsibility of your child. Please continue to support your child in learning their times tables. They will not be tested but this will help with their fluency in maths.

This year children will have English and Maths Homework on Google classroom only. It is therefore important children are taking responsibility for their homework and ensure it is being submitted online and on time.

We understand homework can cause some issues for some children, especially if they already have busy schedules, this is not the aim of homework. Therefore, if your child has any issues or is struggling to complete their homework on time then we are more than happy to help them during break/lunchtime early on in the week to give them the opportunity to then give it another go themselves.
