What should I do if my child has Covid-19 Symptoms?
If your child has any of the main COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste), they should not attend school and should stay at home.
You should arrange for them to get a PCR test and inform school of the result.
What should I do if someone in our household tests positive for COVID-19?
Your child will be identified as a close contact and will be advised to take a PCR test - please inform school of the result. We ask that your child remains at home until the result of the PCR test is received. If your child's PCR result is negative please call Mr Griffin to discuss your child's return to school.
Regular lateral flow testing at home
Lateral Flow Tests have been proven to be 99.9% effective, and we ask that you support the school by testing frequently at home. Free lateral flow tests can be ordered via the government website and delivered to your home or collected from your local pharmacy - find a nearby pharmacy you can collect from. A result from your throat and nose (or nose only) swab, is given within 30 minutes.
